Hidemi is a Japanese-born ceramic artist whose work merges traditional techniques with a contemporary, sculptural sensibility.
 
After training in Seto, Japan, and completing her MFA in Ceramics at the National Art School in Australia, she became a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC).
Inspired by the bold forms of Australian native flora, her organic works evoke the quiet energy of nature. Through symbolic forms and textured surfaces, she captures unseen rhythms, memory, and the pulse of the living landscape.
